PROJECT:
RESTORATION.
ONE OF A KIND SUPPORT
Our Father's Table, Project: Restoration is the missing link to ending chronic homelessness: the only program of its kind solely servicing the chronic homeless in South Orange County.
Our multi-pronged chronic homeless intervention program is a cost-effective, tough-love approach that has successfully worked for over 439 previously chronic homeless with a 95% success rate.
Our unique approach puts us in the center of their life as mentor, advocate, and most importantly, genuine friend giving unconditional love and guidance.
HOMELESS INTERVENTION TOWARDS A PATHWAY HOME
We become a sponsor, mentor and a friend, navigating the homeless service system together. We teach life skills, establish accountability, and build resilience, creating an optimal environment to restore individuals to productive members of our community, ending their cycle of chronic homelessness.
We are there for them at 3am and 3pm, whether it's Monday or Christmas.
WHAT IS CHRONIC HOMELESSNESS?
Chronic homelessness affects folks with addictions, who suffers from severe mental illness or a physical and/or intellectual disability, and living on the streets for years.
Many times folks experiencing chronic homelessness fall into more than one category. They can be dealing with addiction and a physical disability. They can have a severe mental illness and an addiction. They can be an addict with an intellectual disability. Any combination is possible, even all of them together, making their pathway towards home almost impossible without Project:Restoration.
"For most of the chronic homeless, Our Father's Table Interventionist will be the only positive adult presence in their lives. A connection with a caring human being, not tangible resources alone, is the necessary medicine to pull people out of a sea of negativity, alienation and self-destructive behavior."
