How We Work
It’s a complex system -- we understand it.
The individual is unique -- we identify their needs.
The path to restoration -- we navigate it.
The mission of Our Father’s Table is to walk alongside our brothers and sisters experiencing homelessness and help them find restoration.
There are over 200 agencies in Orange County with services available to the homeless. We help our homeless brothers and sisters navigate this complex network.
Showing the love of Christ, we take the time to build genuine relationships with our homeless neighbors. We help assess the individual’s needs based on their unique situation and provide a bridge to agencies and service opportunities currently in place. We accompany, assist and encourage our homeless friends throughout this process -- so they have the correct tools to self-help effectively.
Connecting the homeless to this network ensures they receive the most appropriate services, ultimately guiding them toward permanent restoration. Our Father’s Table fosters an environment which supports a permanent option out of homelessness, rather than a fleeting approach that helps today but is gone tomorrow.
We Stay Connected
The path to restoration can be long and difficult, but our journey doesn’t end there. Relationships have been formed and we maintain those friendships even after our brothers and sisters are no longer living on the streets. OFT continues to be a resource, assisting with issues such as transitional housing, transportation and employment.
"Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28
In loving memory of Robert Evelio Seriel.
