Sr. Joanna Rosciszewska
Director of the St. Joseph Worker Program
Sr. Joanna Rosciszewska from the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange will be celebrating 42 years of religious vocation this year including 35 years in parish ministry and missions.
She currently is serving as the Director of the St. Joseph Worker Program, a ministry dedicated to the empowering women to respond to the needs of the times in the tradition of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange.
Sr. Joanna has a Masters degree in Theology and undergraduate degrees in Theology and Art. She has a profound awareness of the workings of God in those she encounters and is ever grateful for His Providence. Her enthusiasm and joyful spirit are contagious and she is passionate about empowering others, and serving the poor and vulnerable especially immigrants and homeless.
Sr. Joanna brings positive creative energy to the forefront of difficult situations and trusts in enabling others to grow and learn. She enjoys deep conversations and laughter as much as quiet moments gardening and preparing meals for others with fresh home-grown vegetables and herbs.
My favorite quote in ministry: "Eyes open, ears attentive, spirit alert... sleeves rolled up for ministry" - Portrait of a "Daughter of St. Joseph"
