Aquatic Technologies, President
Ken Hart has held a significant presence in the southern California pool building industry for 30 years. His career began with ten years experience in sales for a southern California based solar pool heating contractor. He enhanced the knowledge gained through sales by moving into the role of a Project Manager for a major commercial pool contractor for an additional ten years, which provided an expertise in the technical aspects of pool building.
In 1997, Ken obtained his C53 Swimming Pool Contractor license and began his company, Aquatic Technologies, Inc., located in San Juan Capistrano, California. He has served as the company’s Principle/CEO for the more than ten years of its existence. The C53 license allows him to construct commercial and residential swimming pools, spas or hot tubs, including installation of solar heating equipment using trades or skills necessary for such construction.
Under Ken’s guidance, Aquatic Technologies has overseen the construction of projects ranging from backyard spas, competition pools, and recreation centers including water parks. His pools are located in some of the most prestigious homes and facilities in southern California.
Aquatic Technologies is unique in the marketplace as it also offers a design service to assist architects and developers bring their concepts through the governing health and building agencies for approval.
It has always been Ken’s priority for the Company to be much more than just a sales office. Aquatic Technologies is a full service construction company that can take any size project from conceptual design to the finished product. The Company employs its own plumbers, tile setters, electricians, and superintendents, who are part of an inhouse labor force that is used to insure each of the projects is built to their high standard of quality.
As CEO of one of the leading commercial pool builders in southern California, Ken has been called upon to teach classes on residential and commercial pool construction for state health department organizations, at industry conventions, and at California Polytechnic State University at Pomona.
